Imo State Students' Community Visits Commissioner Emeka Mandela, Promotes Peace and Collaboration

On Thursday, October 17, 2024, Dr. Emeka Mandela, the Hon. Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt in Imo State, hosted a delegation from the Imo NANS Stakeholder's Forum, which included SUG Presidents, JCC leadership, former SUG Presidents, and other student leaders.

During the meeting, Chairman Comr. Chukwuemeka Chikere expressed gratitude for the warm reception and praised the Governor for appointing a dynamic youth leader to oversee the Youth Ministry. The forum's visit aimed to strengthen ties with the government and introduce the current NANS leadership while appealing for support on issues such as bursary awards and transportation for students.

Commissioner Mandela commended the students for their dedication and reiterated the government's commitment to youth development, emphasizing that the ministry was established to foster the prosperity of Imo's youth. He promised the NANS leadership support in achieving their goals and encouraged them to uphold the principles of the "Prosperity Shared 3R Government" led by Governor Hope Uzodinma.
